It all started through a fortuitous meeting between the founders of BaBz and BreadyMix, facilitated through Project Healthy Human. During a product roadshow, the teams came up with the idea of marrying their two offerings together i.e. bringing the meat and bun together. Peqish was folded into the mix, by complementing BaBz and BreadyMix with its vegan basil lime spread.

The combined team is excited to be featuring this product at the upcoming Good To Grow Exhibition as one of the healthiest, plant rich burger options to enter the marketplace.

The Good To Grow Exhibition” is the first local reveal of this offering in Vancouver”, Dr. Kenneth To of Project Healthy Human states. “We are approaching access to this offering slightly different than what the food industry is used to doing, where a manufacturer aspires to have the product featured on a menu everywhere.” adds Dr. To.  “Rather, our focus and vision for this product, is to select strategic partners in specific regions who appreciate the importance of healthy eating and work hard to offer their patrons access to real, wholesome food consistent with the vision of Project Healthy Human.”

We want to select partners that see the value in what we do as a community and appreciate the opportunity to work with such a dedicated group of health experts and brands who work tirelessly to bring forth much needed change in the food industry” Dr. Marotta states.
